One plus though is that there are far more enemies in GE2RB, so my "Cyclone" bullets may actually have more usage than in GER. GE2RB's low AP gain, the Abandoned God Arc spam, and weapon skills serves as a big contrast compared to GER. However, as of present, I am finding GER to be better than GE2RB, but I'm only four hours in. It sucks that I'll be losing out on Predator Styles, Control Units and my favored Ignore Def & Critical Mastery Buckshot, but Blood Arts seem like an interesting mechanic thus far. A part of me already misses the old cast, but some of the new guys are all right. I think there is some foreshadowing to GE2 in there, but otherwise most of it seems to be generic dialogue wrapping up GER.Īs for me, I went ahead and started GE2RB. I thought I had got Ren from a story mission but I was rushing through the missions at the time which is why I can't remember particularly. I guess that's because I don't care about the extra characters though, I just use the mains unless forced otherwise. I assume you only need to do whatever 2 missions that unlock those characters though, doesn't really seem all that rewarding though. You use them to craft 3 compound Upgrades and 5 special Predator Controls. Predator Packs are the ones that give Predator Styles and Aragami Crystals. Probably should have upgraded the shield to the next rank before going in, but I made it regardless. I was using a Rank 11 Faust, +22 (1116 DEF) and ran lots of Defensive skills (DEF Up, Def Up Burst, HP Up, etc.) However, I did use Red Mist+ at first with Reinforce to offset it somewhat, but due to the insane damage I stopped activating Red Mist+. Despite all this, I did manage to beat it blind first try! In the end, I decided to take it slow on rely on pure melee and Auto Guard, only switching to my Shotgun to heal who was left alive. Alisa's endurance reached 0, Soma lost his immortal status, but Lindow pulled through even though he fell a few times.
